A Shareholder Advisory Committee comprising 14 voluntary members, including two employee shareholders, was created in April 2003 and is chaired by Director of Investor Relations of Veolia Environnement.
One of the key roles of this committee is to help improve the means of communication provided for you. Its objectives are to acquire a better knowledge of your expectations in order to ensure your complete satisfaction through the development of a more transparent communications programme that truly reflects your needs.
In 2012, its members met four times. These meetings allowed the members of the Shareholder Advisory Committee to discuss several recurring themes, meet certain members of the Executive Committee and deepen their knowledge of the company, including:

On January 25, 2013, the Shareholder Advisory Committee met and discussed the Finance website and its upgrade towards a mobile version for use on smartphones, with commentary by the provider responsible for website maintenance. During this meeting, the members of the Shareholder Advisory Committee also had the opportunity to meet François Bertreau, Veolia’s new Chief Operating Officer, who joined the company at the beginning of December 2012.
On April 23, 2013, the Shareholder Advisory Committee met and discussed Annual Shareholders’ meeting on May 14, 2013 in order to prepare it. During this meeting, the members of the Shareholder Advisory Committee also had the opportunity to discuss 2012 annual results and transformation plan of the Group.
