Paris, April 9th, 2009. Veolia Environnement has finalised the annual update of its 12 billion euros Euro Medium Term Notes program.

The base prospectus (granted visa n°09-083 by the AMF on 8 April 2009) is available on the website of the company www.veolia-finance.com (“Bondholders” section), at the head office, from the paying agent in Paris (BNP Paribas Securities Services) and on the website of the Autorité des Marchés Financiers www.amf-france.org.
